Refunds and cancellations

Rules for deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds on lessons offered by Distributed Data Net.

Scope

This policy covers fees for the RSI & Momentum Intensive, Private Chart Sessions, and Evening Momentum Workshops booked through Distributed Data Net. It does not cover brokerage fees, third-party charting subscriptions, travel, or lodging.

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on how early you cancel, whether the lesson has started, and whether a private slot can be refilled. Informational prices on the site are not a checkout; once you pay a deposit or fee by the method we email you, this policy applies.

Intensive (six-session cohort)

  • Full refund of deposit and any balance paid: cancellation written notice at least 14 days before session one.
  • Partial refund (50% of total fees paid): cancellation between 13 and 7 days before session one.
  • No refund: cancellation within 6 days of session one, no-show on session one, or withdrawal after the cohort has begun.
  • Materials already printed and issued are non-refundable as a separate line if a rare partial arrangement is made at our discretion.

Private Chart Sessions

  • Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the agreed start for a full fee refund or free reschedule to a new slot within 60 days.
  • Cancellation inside 48 hours: fee retained; one courtesy reschedule may be offered if we can fill the original slot.
  • If we cancel (instructor illness or studio closure), you receive a full refund or a free reschedule at your choice.

Evening workshops

  • Full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before the evening.
  • 50% refund between 6 and 3 days before.
  • No refund inside 72 hours or for no-shows.
  • If we cancel the evening, full refund or transfer to the next announced workshop.

Work already started

Once a private session has begun, that session fee is earned. For intensives, fees cover the cohort as a whole; mid-cohort withdrawal does not generate a pro-rata refund except where Korean mandatory law requires otherwise.

Deposits

Intensive deposits (30%) are credited toward the total. Deposits become non-refundable inside the windows above. Deposits are not transferable to another person without our written agreement.

Purchased materials

Printed worksheets included in a lesson fee are part of that lesson. Separate material packs, if ever invoiced alone, are non-refundable once shipped or handed over.

How to request a refund

Email info@distributeddatanet.digital with your name, lesson, payment date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Bank processing times may add a short delay.

Rescheduling

One courtesy reschedule per intensive seat is allowed if requested at least 14 days before session one and if another cohort has space. Private sessions follow the 48-hour rule above.

Exceptions

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable rights under the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a mandatory consumer cooling-off rule applies to your distance contract, we will honour it.
